Originally formed in 1978 by a group of highly trained and qualified chefs, the group has significantly developed into a collection of successful businesses; all catering for the needs of clients in a diverse range of sectors.
The businesses include Kudos, which provides food and venue management services; Seasoned Events for contract and outside catering; At Home for high end catering; Piggotts for marquees, flags, branding and festive lighting; The Event Hire Company for furniture hire; Kudos Delivered for office delivered catering; Midsummer House, a two Michelin starred restaurant in Cambridge; Jobs 2 Go for staff hire and Kudos Cafés for public and private sector café catering.
The Crown Group also has Omniforce and Venue Reservations, which are the company’s digital marketing agency and free venue finding service for organisers.
The Group employs approximately 1,000 members of staff, with thousands more recruited every year when additional support is required for the many events it caters for.
The Crown Group has its own foundation.
